The 5th wheel set it and forget it, Generally I set it about in the middle between the drives, after a load or 2, checking the weights, it should not change the steer axle weight much if set in the correct place. I do not use the 5th wheel to balance load weights. I only want a slight amount of the load going on the steers, not much.
Stop worring about what the other drivers think about the speed your traveling, travel at a speed your comfortible with. Don't consentrate so much about floating gears, learn to shift the rest will take care it self.born&raisedintheusa, 2rescuekids, Numb and 2 others Thank this. -
