As a cat owner and cat lover, this is cold.

But, having to admit I've seen it before, it still makes me chuckle for its absurdity.

I've seen everything from chi..chiuaw..oh heck Taco bell dog to a Great Dane AND bull dog. We have a Mini-schnuzer, dry dog shampoo works wonders on any smell and as I have said b4, I leave more hair hanging around the truck than she does.

I walk the dog and take care of her, it takes the two of use the same amount of time to "go potty" as it does for my husband to fill the tanks. Yes I could help him instead, take less time, but IF he was by himself then it would take him the same amount of time. And yes that IS the way we look at it.

I help him strap, chain and tarp, so he IS getting help where it is the most helpful.

One that doesn't bark and go schizoid when you leave IT in the truck while you're inside the T/S. Oh yeah, CLEAN UP YOUR PETS DOODOO!
Props to the RESPONSIBLE dog owners. Bring on the flame.

No argument here. Can not stand it when a driver leaves his unit and the dog commences to yapping and never shuts up until the driver returns. And the clean-up part goes without saying....

I agree...my dog only goes schizoid when someone gets too close to my vehicle...otherwise she is quiet. She also alerts me to strange people...if she doesn't like them, usually something is wrong.

My German Shepard is awsome. I think there is a human stuck inside of her, she is very smart, easy to take care of and is a great companion. My concern is that like most German Shepards, she may be showing signs of Hip Displacia and at 105 pounds its a challenge for her to enter and exit the cab. The family is OK with having her ride along. She would most likely get more exercise on the road than at home, everyone is working and she gets little attention. My wonderful wife says "take her with you" time will tell if it will work for both of us. Oh and BTW, she smells better than some drivers I have met and she gets a shower more often than some....just sayin.

There are a lot of the companies now which will let you have a pet, the only downside is some of them charge $500.00 pet fee which may be refundable if you quit.

Prime, & US X allow pets with deposit.

Our Charlie dog was a schnuazer married to LuLu Belle a chow. He was a great dog, he took care of watching for 2 legged people and LuLu took care of all the other wildlife 4 legged critters. They were never on a truck though. Both were rescued after being abandoned after the house they lived at burned down.
