What do you mean what you are seeing?
trying to tie hours to mileage together is a futile thing.
The reason that total hours and idle hours is in the ecm is really for stationary engines where they have two or three running speeds, and I forgot some have pto hours where there is a bump up on the engine speed through a pro switch.
Idle hours is really the important number, i ignore the total hours and look at idle hours as an indication of how the truck was used.
So to exam the hours and try to tie this with mileage, you have to take in considerations the actual average speeds over a fixed period of time, and that can't be done ... it is futile.
What is a good mileage to engine hours ratio?
