What is a good way to balance your trailer weight?

    77,000lb is too heavy a payload for a tri-axle.try to keep weight to 1000lb per foot of trailer used, if it is a tri axle then at the rear half up the weight to 1200lb per foot.

    Get to know your truck PSI gauge and your trailers as well if it has it. I can absolutely guess within 300 pounds how much weight I have on my trailer axle or truck axle just by becoming very familiar with these two gauges. I almost never have to scale out even if I’m running up to 79,000 pounds. If it gets over, that I’ll usually go to a scale. It takes a few times, But if you’re paying attention each time you go across the scale, looking at your gauges and monitoring them, you’ll get a feel for it.
