You quoted me. I responded. You responded, I responded. If that is me trolling a thread then what would you call your responses?

I think the solution here is we both exit the thread.

Just an expression, nothing personal. Obviously, I enjoy a good discussion, but you cannot have one If you don't keep on point.

Ha Ha Ha... you so funny

People respond to comments in a thread and you disagree and then tell them to leave.

    Again, you so funny

And the point was deregulation??? No.

It was why people drive for certain CPM.

You are side tracking the thread as much as anyone. So, please, stay on topic... :p

I didn't tell anybody to leave, including you. In fact I said I enjoyed my discussion with spyder and I hope he doesn't leave. I just don't want to divert this topic, change this topic, discourage others, or devolve it into a bickering or name call match.

Look it up, I didn't bring up deregulation. I just agreed with those that did say it had a negative affect on drivers pay. Somehow by someone other then me, this conversation got sidetracked on all the aspects of deregulation. To confirm the original point, that deregulation affected drivers pay, those sidetracked points need to be addressed.

Ah right, and my point was people (new drivers) should drive hourly not CPM. Stated my reasons clearly in one post and looking for those reasons to be agreed with or countered, not looking to answer misconceptions on Deregulation.

Not me. Not that I am trying to grind that point home. Just rather have everyone on the same topic.

The main point, the one in which you first quoted me, was how deregulation allowed guys like me to enter the industry. But hey what does my income and other 1 truck operations income have to do with the general topic of driver pay. I guess not much so I'm out. Y'all have fun here.

25% of $10.00 per barrel by 260 barrels for 5 hours work would be pretty decent.

    Toomanybikes Thanks this.

Exactly. The pay scheme of all these companies reads just like that to a new truck driver. I wan't these training companies to be upfront with there real wages so a prospective driver has something to compare them to.

Unfortunately none of us are going to see that kind of money again until diesel goes back up to $4.50 or 5 bucks a gallon.
