If the only company that will hire you only pays 30 cpm guess what rate you are going to be working for?.
K and B hired newbies with no experience and paid them 48cpm?.
What is an acceptable rate (cpm) for a New Driver?

The same could be said for any industry and you can easily add a 0 to that 8.

Cause I don't want my own Authority. And a one truck operation is no competition

What deregulation? The trucking industry is one of the most highly regulated industries in the entire country lol. Maybe the space shuttle program is more regulated but can't think of much more.
Perhaps ending regulations where the mega companies get subsidies/corporate welfare to hire new drivers would be a good start to "deregulate" the industry? Government "regulations" are what are throwing an oversupply of cheap drivers into this industry.Last edited: Jun 17, 2016
heckclan Thanks this. -
No way a regulated trucking or airline industry could have kept up with all the changes the US economy saw following the Reagan era. No way. We would be still living in 1978.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.
