I've been stuck here for days. LA used to be awesome, brokers blowing up my phone from 5am, new good loads being posted every minute. But now I can't even get a $2 a mile load up to Sacramento - everything is gone as soon as it's posted. Load is less than one minute old and they're telling me it's already gone.
Is this a seasonal thing? Or is freight collapsing everywhere? Or maybe they just don't like me?
What is going on in the LA area?

Rough sledding right now (especially for dry vans) out of that market.

Only 64 posted outbound loads 150 mile radius from Ontario, CA.
Here's the top 4 highest offers. Pretty pathetic.

Imagine that, $2600 for 2264 miles. Sad thing is, some desperate sucker will do it.

Yucky loads! I hope nobody takes them. I'd rather sit and wait, or deadhead 300 miles to somewhere better, like SF bay area (which is actually better than LA right now amazingly)

Some new DOT #’s I see are up to 3.5 million, lots of new O/O out there.PermanentTourist Thanks this.

Also, everyone trying to avoid the crappy weather and hang out in the south. I know I've been trying to do that, with very mixed results.

It's like that everywhere now

I was in Michigan like 10 days ago, and there were good loads all over the place. Got a Tesla load to Fremont CA for almost $3 a mile. And then last week SF bay area was decent. I think this is mostly an LA problem.
