What is outlaw trucking?

1st food service company i worked for (willow run) was like that doing team NYC runs out of Binghamton ny. My co driver actually recorded a phone call with one of the dispatchers bluntly telling him to drive out of hours and they would "fix it later"

 

Ran southern route with all the heros of that era. My post can be seen on the Southern Shaker subject. We gathered at Longview, Genes TStop to get ready for flight. We used Colton as another place to meet up. Maybe we met, who knows, Great era for OO trucking,,, they call me Caretaker and I gotta go......

Driving with a suspended license, unplugging the eld, ect...these are little kid outlaws.

Real outlaws are the ones that will steal your trailer and take it to a scrap yard. Carrying double license plates, double vins, fake shipping manifests, ect...don’t be an outlaw. If you’re going to be an outlaw, at least drive a cascadia. Dot thinks every outlaw drives a long hood for some reason

 

What is a cascadia.......

 

I think it is a mountain range in the Northwest. Somewhere near Florida

 

I thought it was driving with no underwear , wearing shorts with cowboy boots and hanging out on TTR late at night .

 

The term ''outlaw trucker'' refers to a time before deregulation.
The outlaw would take anything any where if the price was right.
Regulations be darned.
