Hello ya'll, I have a question. Might sound a little silly but what exactly is a solo adjusting 10 speed direct transmission? I know it is a 10 speed with a clutch and all but what does the solo adjusting mean?

There is a solo clutch that is supposed to be adjustment free. Could that be what you are talking about ?

Sounds like somebody was writing something in order to make it simple but ended up making it complicated.
Figure they mean self adjusting clutch with a 10 speed direct drive (as in no overdrive) -
Sometimes depending on the driver, they can need adjusting.
By the way, the direct drive tranny is better for fuel mileage.rwdfinch50 Thanks this. -
