Hello everyone, who knows what is speed limit for oversize loads ( my is 10'and 1"$) in Virginia, going north from TN border on 81, all the way up to W Virginia,
Could not find in my permit, but friend of mine told that is 55 mph on interstates?right??????thanks

Never hauled in Virginia, some states do have slower speeds for permit loads. I've seen 55 mph, 5 under, ten under...
Read your permit carefully, and read your attachments very carefully. -
And you will want to call the permit issuer for clarification if you do not find a magic number such as 55 mph inside your particular load papers.
Most all of the oversize, over weights Ive seen in my area run normally. If it means that 200 ton transformer is tooling along at 65 so there is that. But those they stop at every bridge and check em before crossing. Every little. One. -

Last i knew, Virginia was 55 MPH for oversize

55 not 56 they enforce it. It is on the permit.
Ohio is 55, Missouri is 10 under posted limit,NY is 55, Arizona is 55, NM is 65, there are others but it is too early in the am to remember them all.spyder7723 Thanks this. -
