I don't mean to be a buster or an A Hole, but if you couldn't find the speed limit on the permit, it is because you DID NOT READ THE PERMIT. You did not do your homework.

"Six, you are an A Hole!"

Yes I am. And I bring my A Game every time I play. Skimming over permits is a bad habit. Bad.

I did an oversized load from PA to OH last year. IIRC the provisions noted a maximum of 10 mph under the posted speed limit.

As @TripleSix noted, you have to read your permits and provisions carefully before moving that rig. I tape the turn by turn directions to the dash and have them locked in to my Rand McNally GPS as "via" waypoints on my route before I move. Make SURE you know the curfews as well and plan where you are going to be able to park the load.

    TripleSix Thanks this.

Did an oversize to Michigan last week and it was 50mph speed limit if in a 4 lane road and 45 mph if on a 2 lane. Thankfully only had 30 miles of my trip in Michigan.

Yep, some will push it.. Me in certain states I toe the line. Losing permit plus fine and having to get new permit can get real spendy.. plus some states if they know it got pulled for a violation they seem to put your app at the bottom of the pile also
