I would like to get the good, bad and ugly on them. If you drive for them, are you happy with them? Do they keep you rolling? I want the butt naked truth about them. Thanks

Is this Zipp Express out of St. Louis? Drove a cargo van for them for about 2 months. What will you be driving? Company driver or O/O Straight truck, car or van?

My wife worked there on a cargo van route. Mike is the owner and another mike is the manager.

The Zipp at Galatin Tn. is not connected to the other. Zipp takes the throw away freight other companies refuse. If you go to Laredo you will sit there a long time. When you finally get a load it will be for a reduced rate, and they probably won't tell you.
I wouldn't recommend Zipp. The people there are very nice, but they don't have the freight to keep you busy. Zipp also has their own company trucks.
If you are going to expedite you need a carrier who is all owner opps or all company drivers. You cannot win when competing with your owner for freight.

Basically throw away freight is freight that has been offered to other carriers and refused by them. Many times it is because of the destination, usually it is because of a cheap rate.
