What is the average fuel surcharge you have seen?

    I just recently started out and have been told their fuel surcharge is 25% is this high? I'm making 29% of the load after fuel which 25%.

    Depends....If the truck is making $1 a mile, then 25% of that would be .25 (FSC). which is low. I believe the current FSC is about .40 per mile. But remember, the truck company can and will manipulate the rates. Something like black magic !
