Anyone else have info or experience with AAA Cooper? I'm near Mobile and they have a terminal nearby in Theodore.

I want to move on from my Yard Jockey / Shuttle thing which also has low pay.

Your not working even a 40 hour week if you’re grossing 675.Almost all jobs you’re going to make more money at. I’m really surprised that Avertt isn’t at least guaranteeing 40 hours. But I know nothing about them.Be aware these companies being mentioned like gas hauling is usually 12 hour shifts 5 to 6 days a week you’re obviously not used to it might take time getting in the groove of working longer hours.LTL jobs are good but usually starting out there is going to be mostly dock work depends on how short staffed the driving position is at the terminal you’re at.Most of the time or at least in my area the LTL companies advertise for drivers but you will actually be on the dock until a opening or there busy that day.if you’re young and can build seniority they good places to have a career at.

    Think that's coincidence?
Only gonna get worse once the latest round of acquisitions/mergers settles in.

That’s pathetic. You can do better.

@Chinatown had 2 good options with Estes and Old Dominion. R&L might be worth checking out too. They all have terminals in Birmingham.

That an insult now with Walmart paying people to stock shelves that much and a lot less stress

AAA averages about 55 hours per week in Alabama, they are around 28-29 bucks an hour but I hear they maybe getting a raise because they cannot hire or keep dependable drivers.
