The A-99 works just fine ...

As for local laws OTHER that FCC and deed restrictions the only ones I know of are safety ones like setback from power wiires ... Local laws prohibing antennas would be hard to enforce.

    Now I have heard everything!

    "AIR COOLED" antenna?
What CB shop owner told you that one? Unless you are cranking out like 10,000 watts of power, your antenna is not going to get hot! Anyone who has told you that any antenna needs to be kept cool, needs to seek mental help.

I'm not with good CB's so... Lol, at least I can hook it up and talk on it. I'm just a driver, no special fields unless its parenting. Ohh I'm scary when little one misbehaves in public...
