I have had Verizon for 8 years . Service is pretty good, we do have a lot of dropped calls. We havea 20gb 4 line family plan with 1 tablet average is $400 a month. Customer Service sucks. If you ever return a phone don't lose your tracking number at any cost. They will charge you full price for a phone they lose. We have paid them thousands of dollars over the last several years and as soon as our contract is up we are switching.

I have Verizon and have been driving in the southern part of the Western States... It's been pretty good coverage but many more dropped calls and dead zones. But probably best general coverage out there.

Sprint is worth a good look these days if you get a spark capable phone. My coverage with my note2 on the 80 in nevada is getting better and better. But it's not spark capable. so speeds are slow.
Wyoming is also getting better. -

Then:
STEP 1: If you are concerned only with VOICE comms, then leave "2G / 3G / 4G" all CHECKED.
If you are concerned with more than voice (i.e. Internet / Data) then uncheck the "2G" box.
If you want to see ONLY the HIGH-speed data coverage (like you want to watch a lot of live streaming or game onlines, etc) then leave ONLY the 4G checked.
STEP 2: Select your carrier choices on the right hand side and the map will show you that coverage.
STEP 3: Zoom the map in on your common routes/lanes to see where there is good coverage, verses spotty coverage, verses no coverage (dead spots) for the carrier and the signal type you chose.Last edited: Jan 28, 2016
