Every year I have been in business my ins has gone down,,started years ago at about $11k/YR last time I paid $7200/yr for equipment valued at $250K with $500K cargo ins and a $5K deductible, OOIDA is not a good place to buy Ins, -
Does OOIDA work w/ Landstar yet?

Short answer is no.Skate-Board Thanks this. -

SMTatham Thanks this.

OOIDA is a risk retention group and not a real insurance company. People don't like that.
SMTatham and crackinwise Thank this. -
The re-insurance is Lloyd's of London. VERY highly ......like AA+ AM Best rated.........HOWEVER.......the risk retention pool is NOT rated by AM Best because self insured trusts are not REQUIRED to be.......that's the problem.....not that risk retention groups are inherently evil. The BIG carriers.....self insured.....yah, THEY are risk retention groups too!! LOLcrackinwise Thanks this. -
