What is the best way to dry out a reefer after a washout?

I cranked up the heat for a couple of hours. Park with the tail end of the trailer downhill to help drain water or dump the airbags if you can. Anything to lower the rear end to drain excess water, the heat will dry it out. Once it’s dry, you usually have to precool before you load anyway.

Fastest way is to set reefer to -20 and freeze it... But that may not work for all shippers. If you set it at 42 continuous it will dry in about an hour.

I used to just leave my back doors open at the truck stop or rest area. It would usually dry out pretty quick.

Set it to 30F and press the defrost button. It should pee out all the water moisture very quickly. If it finishes the defrost, try to defrost one more time. It should do the job in about 15 minutes
