What is the best year for the combination "Volvo + Cummins" ???

Lol, I don't know if it's a coincidence but I've had a 2007 "bubble" Pete with exact same problems, oh and it had that CAT that's no longer in motor making business. Other then that Paccar makes great trucks.

 

If anyone has a clue... How does one go about connecting a 2001 cm570 to a 2010 Volvo vnl670? Obviously the biggest difference is the factory ISX cm871 ecm has 2 harness connections & a power supply harness connection, where the cm570 has 3 harness type connections! The 2001 Volvo had a 31 pin connection to connect to the engine ecm (interface) & didn't come equipped with all the modules (electronics) that the 2010 VNL has! So assuming the factory harness has the power supply & ground connections, is the OEM Volvo 50 pin connection to the ECM the same (pin out)? Or does one have to do some serious wiring to make compatible? Anyone?
