Been thinking of trying out tankers. Just something I am mulling around in my head. So what is the easiest type of tanker job to start out in?

I have heard of chemicals, fuel, food, and dry bulk so far.

Any of them are ok. The company I worked for hauled hazmat liquid, hazmat dry bulk, non-hazmat liquid and chemicals, dry bulk cement, dry bulk lime, dry bulk fly ash. Hauled flour to bakeries all over the nation.
There's a lot to choose from.
Indian River Transport is food grade liquid running all over the nation. Dozens of companies to choose from.

Dry bulk is probably the easiest to get into. Probably the safest, but probably the dirtiest. And it's on the lower end of tanker pay. But with the right company, it can be a nice way to make a living. It can also be a seasonal type job, especially if doing cement.

If you're near Philly, Venezia is located in Limerick, with yards scattered around the Philly area. They do dry bulk, propane, asphalt, and I think food grade as well

I believe A&R transport has a terminal in the Philly area as well.
