Another BS from Volvo.
#1. By Volvo repair manual spring leaf flatness measure procedure says leaf should be loaded with certain load and leaf arch measured.
#2 If you replacing one side with new spring your truck will drives like lame duck because one side spring is stiffer then other.
And lastly from my own experience. I did same to my 2013 Volvo couple years ago trying to lift truck front little bit. I got leafs and all the parts from Volvo took it to the spring shop AAA Spring in Salt Lake City. About $600 and 4 hours later it was done. The result of repair is zero. Front is exactly on same height as it was before. I think frame is bent on my truck due to time, bad roads, load.
What is the est time and cost to replace leaf springs on a volvo 780?
