What is the longest time you have left your truck running?

    Yeah I ran mine for 3 weeks several times. I remember one time hauling sugar beet from Montana to Laredo was cold in Montana and seemed like 100 in Laredo and Had to sit two days to get s load out and where did it go? Phoenix. Nothing like driving all night then trying to sleep in a 100 degree truckstop in middle of day! I was with transport america then and they had a good idle policy. Think it was like over 75 and below 60 or something pretty reasonable. Point is sometimes you have no choice. Idling up the engine doesnt help it mechanically. Idling new engines is not good for them even at higher RPM.
