I think it's always been company policy.

If they dont then plenty of others will hire people with felonies from years back.

Wait long enough and in time it barely have any effect on your hirability.

If its only one and from years ago, I would check with a lawyer about getting it expunged.

if your a team staying out 8 weeks at a time I was told 8 days would not be a problem ..just depends on how long you stay out at a time.. its much cheaper for them if your not coming home every 2-4 weeks.. plus they add .05 a mile if you stay out more than 45 days .. so my theory is they will work with those willing to stay out for longer periods of time..

1 day a week out. 5 days for a month out more than a week you must bring them the truck back.

Yes they do. I'm a felon, and got a prehire today. The felony just has to be over 10 years old as in most other companies.

I know that. But they know about my felony because we even discussed it. Why would they waste their time knowing I have a felony if they do not hire felons?

To answer the felony question it depends on time from the charge and severity, we were all young at one time and yes we all did stupid ####, some of us just got caught in the act. I worked for USX on the Walmart account in New Caney TX, Gas City IN, and Henderson NC and loved it, had to leave due to family matters but ready to get back to it and looks like I'm going over the road this time since I moved back to NC and there's no spots open on the Walmart acct here
