I'd drive my 79 k100. I parked it after i bought my 379. Anyways, it has a 350 BC1 cpl 369, Pump was putting over 300 psi, oversize injectors, and a HT 4 Holset to make up for the fuel. Still have it, miss those day's.

One of these days, I'll get me another mid/late 70s W900. I loved that truck.

I drove one as a greenhorn. I was born and raised in Mack country.
And I forgot to add...... no front brakes! -
I'd get the oldest truck I could that parts were still redily available for. My biggest regret is taking the check in feb 2010 when my 03 int'l with a cummins n14 was totalled out. I could have rebuilt the font and that was smashed up for prolly 1/4 of what I've put into my 05 volvo since april of same year, and am still paying on for 2 yrs. Alot of what I've had to pay for is the emissions and newer electronic crap. Granted had I not run the int'l up the ### of a snowplow i would still have it..........
