    A regular pickup is about 5,500 lbs. I bet that box truck is about 7,000 lbs or so.

    Solution is to have an upfitter put heavier springs and another rear axle on the back end and new springs on the front.

    Easier just to buy a truck that is setup to do what you need it to. Been down the road of trying to make something into something its not and its always been a waste of time and money. Plus after all the headaches and $$$$ it rarely ever seems to work as good as the right tool for the job anyways.

    According to the plate in the cab of my 18-foot Ford E450, the unit weighs 8,790 pounds. I was surprised that it weighed that much empty. Hope this helps.
