What is the Pilot "Drink Club" ?

I recently tried to start fueling at Love's. It lasted about 2 weeks and I gave up because every time I wanted to take a shower I had to wait at least 15 minutes and up to an hour for one to be cleaned. Even tried at about 3am and it was the same thing because they had 1 employee working in the entire store.

I have been fueling at PFJ, not because I particularly like them, but I've gotten burned out on TA/Petro.

 

15 min to an hour isn't that bad especially at a smaller stop with 3 showers or a mega busy location like Odessa where an hour is the wait time if you are lucky! Try taking a shower at noon. Now everyone is trying to shower on their break and that's when the lines really start. Fwiw I just came into the Linden, LA Love's and got a shower right away. I try to shower when I stop, then if there is a wait, it doesn't cut into my work time.

 

Loves has points and drinks, but the best fuel discount even for the mega.companies is 5 cents. Pilot and Fj is 30 cent discount right now, and 40 cents on the west coast. Screw the points when you are independent and paying for fuel. Loves is for company drivers.
