Me? Better paying job at 40 hrs a week vs 70+. Got a really nice local gig. But the contract is ending (after 2+ years) so I'll probably go back...![]()

Just wanted something different or what would be thought of as "better".
At any job I have had, the pay was good, the benefits were good, but I get tired of somethings, and just need to "move on", I guess.
Never really had any bad dispatcher, yeah I know, that's not believable, I always told him (or her) that I would do my best. If I did them a favor, I would get favors in return, like extra days off, or loads going to far away locations for the miles.
Over all, I got miles, pay and benefits, good equipment, but I have the nomad side of me that cannot stay put for more than say 6 years at any one place.
Too bad too, I lost out on vacation weeks and seniority at some places, by not staying.
But I just gotta move on. -
1. Only getting 2-5 hours a day
2. Management
3. Poor equipment
4. Sending me out in same broken truck never getting repaired
5. Making 100-150 a week -
1. Relocated, wife asked me to.
2. No money
3. Disregard from the management towards maintenance and hours of service. -

I will drop you like a hot potato if I catch you living to me .

Money, money, money.
Last one I can give you a dozen excuses. All of the above!! -
Lied to.
I've rarely quit over money. I've done it, but it's rare.
You get once chance to lie to me.
Now that said. I have been lied to about my money. That usually winds up with me walking. No further questions needed. -
