What is the Primary reason you have quit a company?

I've always looked at like this-

If they are the ones signing the checks and it's their name on the trucks, they have the prerogative of running that business however they see fit.

MY CHOICE is whether I choose to participate in it.

It's ultimately my responsibility to take care of myself, not the owners.
The owners responsibility (imo) was to provide me the equipment, in good working order, let me know what needed to be done, and compensate me in a timely manner. If those things didn't happen, I had to go elsewhere.

Ultimately, for me, the best result was for me to get my own truck and book my own loads.

Now if something goes wrong, I have a say in what happens.
