There is plenty of Info about CRST on here, do you have a CDL yet, if not you will have to go through training then get on a truck for 4 weeks with a trainer and you will be paid 18cpm then after you get done with the trainer and start running teams with your husband you will earn about 22 cpm (cents per mile)
CRST is a kinda rip off though, but good place to get your experience in, the go to a better team company,
CRST offers Bridge Gap insurance so for your 90 days you have medical insurance then after your 90 you get your major medical dental 401K
you also get a free 20,000 accidental death insurance for free...
Their trucks run 64mph they have straight 10's in the Freightliners and Super and Lightening 10's in the International... Maintenance Program is so so, they only have 3 terminals that i can remember... Carlisle, PA // Oklahoma City, OK // Fontana, CA
They Avoid Tolls, if you wanna take toll roads you pay out of your pocket (i did it helps you get more miles by delivering faster) they do pay tolls if they have to like getting out of NJ and into NY, they wont pay for I-90 tolls in NY they route you arround the toll road... its really slow going up there...
They use Qualcomm for Directions and have their fair share of bad directons always call the customer to verify
they pay tuesday and thursday each week, and cut corners if you let them get away with it... best dispatcher is Ernie or Roy -

there isnt a problem with the question but if you do a little research on this site you will find the answers.
go to search and put in CRST and you will get all the good, bad and indifferant on that company.
can do the same thing for DAC.
hope this helps. -
What is the DAC? dont just assume everyone knows. We are trying to make the right fit and do a good hard days work, (if you dont mind) excuse our ignorance of terms. We thought you would prefer courtious, safe drivers on the road with you!!! Anyone who wants to respond in a positive manner to (2) empty nesters with great work ethics, please do do, other wise, "smart ### comments are not welcome" Thank you and have a nice day!!!

your Dac/USIS report is just like your Perminate record that your teachers in school told you about and everything you do goes into your DAC and the information is paid for by other trucking companies to decide if they want to hire you or not
-
if you don't get responses to your Question right away you can Search topics, just make sure you have your user settings to be able to search all the past threads on this forum, i have writen about crst many times and there is a plethora of information here on DAC/USIS just look arround -
essentially DAC is like a drivers credit report other than it usually dosent list "good" things on it if you get fired from a company for running over someone they put on your DAC so the next employer will see it and know what happened from what i understand all incidents and accidents appear on your DAC report aswell as accidents and tickets go on your MVR
-
I've been told several times that incidents don't go on your dac, they are kinda like when your in the army and you get in trouble but not bad trouble and you get a counseling statement, well when u go to a new unit your counseling statements don't go but your Article 15's do....
I'f i'm wrong someone please correct me with concrete evidence about the whole accident / incident thing -
Fletch: I don't think anyone was intending on being a smart elic or not helpfull. I think they felt many topics are out there on your questions and was referring you to how to research your questions.
It is late and maybe no one is feeling like posting the answers. Every now and then good answers may come later when everyone is wide awake.
We are very pleasant people on the board and we don't tolerate "anyone" attacking anyone for non sense reasons.
We would like to welcome you and to just refresh this thread and get on the right track as it is late, there is some who are having alcohol, tired syndrome, grouchy syndrome (me) etc.
Thanks and have a great day
Here is a link to the DAC information as I don't know much about it, but I do know a little. I would say this link will give you more information and be more accurate than mine!
If you visit the regulations thread there may be more information than the below link.
