    Close but Not quite

Apu houses an alternator and ac compressor, it is cooled with a loop of truck coolant

Bunk heater is usually a tiny diesel fired electrically dependent heater.

So the bunk heat power source is batteries, charged either by truck or apu

That is the tri pack setup

I think I got it you explained it well.

So the APU is intertwined through the AC via alternator, ac compressor, a loop of truck coolant and a power source for the AC.

The APU is not very intertwined with the bunk heater as it only acts as a power source for the bunk heater (which can also be charged by running the truck to keep the batteries from dying).

Do I have it right now?
