What is the purpose of the driver you are passing switching to the other lane?

Well he's gotta get that fuel economy up to at least 7 mpg or he won't be able to afford dinner!

I do that when there is no one coming up from behind and the driver cuts in too close.
My high beams might shine as well for a while.

There is no need to cut right in front of a truck you are passing just to get over sooner.
    WHY do that?
Give some room before you come back over!

The bad sportsmanship is on your part for cutting right back to the left lane in front of that driver.

DO NOT cut in front of me, forcing me to tailgate you and making both of us unsafe!!!!

Why do you keep switching lanes in front of him? He’s only trying to keep some safe open space in his ‘front yard’, and you keep jumping into it? THAT would be the ‘pathetic behavior’ ☹️

This is one of my peeves. My truck can exceed any posted speed limit, if I want to. Most times I never see a need for that. Usually I just ease off the throttle a little at a time. Funny how long it takes some to realize the change in speed.

On cruise, running like 68, minding my business.
See a truck coming up in the mirrors, no big deal. Soon this truck is so tight on my back, that I bet if I did trigger the brake lights, the driver wouldn’t see them. Did this for several minutes. Come up on a full grown gator right in the middle of the right tire track. I eased over and cleared it fine. I noticed that truck went to the shoulder real quick. Not sure why.

It seems these days people just love to tailgate, even though they can't see a single thing in front of them except for a back end.
