Some Bolt companyin Philly was the Worse for me then had to go to Warehouse America to get a load of Honey for my backhaul. Fun part for both loads I was told a max weight load each place and had to haul verything I could in a 40Ft trailer. Yep you heard right I dragged a 40 footer into Philly. Got empty and then reloaded and GOT THE HELL OUT OF the so called city of Brotherly Love. At least I got a Cheesesteak before I left town.

I use to drive for Pratt Industries in Valparaiso, IN years ago. I would occasionally have to take a load down to Conyers and would see all the guys waiting to unload. They would get so pissed off when I would drive by them and back into the next open dock. I felt bad but not terrible LOL

Yeah, pre-renovation, pre-NYPD, Hunts Point in the Bronx conjurs up some fine memories for me.

I haul alot of logs of logging jobs so the least favorite of mine are the one where the logger is to cheap to buy some stone or gravel and you have to run through 2 feet of mud to get to the logs. Did a job in Brooklyn Ny a long time ago hauling out asbestos from a job on pitkin ave. That was and still is the worse place i've ever bin. All 1 way streets and had to be in there after 9pm. Drop & hook no room, had to leave empty on sidewalk and then try and get out around all the cars. One night there where some cars double parked and i could not make the corner had the rd blocked, cop showed up and told me to just run over the car as it was parked illegal and get the heck out of here. Glad i do not have to go there anymore.

Most paper mills are that way though I've never waited longer than 8 hrs at Pratt Industries in Shreveport and that was because of production line problems. BioPappell in Prewitt, NM, now THAT'S a hellhole I hope God strikes from this earth. When you finally get done, they won't even let you check your map in the staging lot before you leave. As of anyone wants to stay there more than necessary!
