What is the worst truck stop in the US?

I remember when the Giant truck stop East of Gallup was the newest state of the art mega truck stop we looked forward to visiting. Place just stinks now.

 

New Jersey t/s in South Kearny, Tullo as well.

That Pos of a t/s on 301 south bound right at the foot of the Nice Bridge going into VA. Walked inside oneday, turned around and walked right back out. Payed the toll & hit WAWA in Va.

That’s my list for worst.

 

It's still a mega truck stop, just a dumpy one. That little one at the Chevron in Seligman AZ isn't bad if you get there early enough to park on the pavement, but the dirt lot is like off roading it's so full of pot holes.

I'd say the Cambridge, Ohio peelot. Too small and always backed up waiting just for fueling. Forget about parking there.

 

I think it's the Ta across from Petro. That is the old 76.

 

Theres ta and pilot south of turnpike. Theres petro , loves and flying j with dennys north of turnpike. That loves and pilot get way overcrowded .

 

I agree PTP is BS and just think what it will be like 10 years from now.

The old moonscape 76 was a good place to stop until it became well a moon scape. Then went to the other one on the same side of the stoneyridge road and hardly the TA on the other side of it.

Im guessing it's probably a moon scape to this day, that old one. As a paver I can imagine it might cost more to pave that than the entire land and building would be worth.

Last time we were there was morning of 9-11 at the TA there. Fuel was astronomical then after the attacks were over. Our company paid it without noise, but we sure wished we got it much earlier before they flipped the prices up there.
