Looking at buying a truck, and i am unable to figure out what this is on the dash/console.

I have never driven a truck with so many guages and toggles and buttons, so i have no clue on what the silver thing is.
I tried searching, but no luck... tyvm for your time and help

The picture isnt big enough, but it looks like a built in scan gadge. It should be able to tell you mpg, rpm, boost, oil/water temp, etc. Also tells codes....take a close up picture and ill know for sure.

I am roughly 1000 miles from the vehicle so sadly the best size i can do is when you click on the picture.... The idea of it being a vorad system actually makes alot of sense as the truck was a prime vehicle.

I was thinking vorad, bit at least the older vorads dont have a screen, just lights and knobs. Maybe the new ones do. It looks a lot like a cat scangadge but he said it was ISX. I would think they might have a similar display.
