Quick back story. I'm second owner. I bought a PDI tuner for this 567 with Cummins 500E. installed correctly according to the tuner. Tuner did nothing for me except reduce the fuel mileage rather than increase it. Plus, using the gauges in the tuner, they would randomly go blank and upon restart, would not refresh. PDI service is another story.
So started looking at the OBD port to see if a pin was pushed back or something that might cause the gauge issues.
Found two dark pins that may be have gotten warm?

So removed the port from the dash plastic and found this terminator rather poorly taped to the back of it. Is it supposed to be on the port?

Thanks for checking on it. The way this one is taped and the dark pins make this highly suspect.

Maybe someone spliced in a power connection for an elog? If so, it should have been wired to the ignition switch, not the OBD port.

Looks like they had something hacked in that was getting warm so they hacked in an in-line fuse holder.
