Found this little plastic barrel. One end has the cat yellow color with ZD-1.8 on the face. The rest is solid black bc it was in my oil pan. It’s the width of a dime. So it looks like a stack of dimes about an inch tall with one face yellow and
ZD-1.8 on it. I just had my head changed. I’m hoping it was something left over. I just changed my oil and it came out.

Looks like one of the rubber plugs that gets pushed into the block to seal off the unused dipstick locations.

Would this b easy to find or find out if that’s it? It doesn’t feel like rubber. I put a hacksaw blade to it and it’s solid. Like a plastic maybe. But I’m not going to doubt you, that’s why I’m asking. Where do I need to look for these plugs?

Not sure if an Acert would have them but I circled their locations on my 3406 block. There's 2 on the other side of mine as well. The one on the right looks pretty similar to what you posted. The left one is empty because that's where my arrangement specifies the dipstick to go.

If it was missing that plug you'd have a pretty good mess I'd bet. But that was my first thought as well.

i just checked. All 3 of the plugs are in place. And this is the first oil change after I had my head replaced. I’ll have to wait til Monday to call rush and ask if they replaced those plugs for the dipsticks.

I just didn’t want to wait til Monday and lose a day of work. I have my own authority as well and it’s tough. Missing a days worth of work after missing a month replacing that head and the cost of it.
