The problem I had with the coffee and sugar, was it was loaded on Friday afternoon and as soon as it was loaded, the warehouse shut down for the weekend. Didn't want to wait around until Monday.rachi, slow.rider, Trucker61016 and 2 others Thank this.

Yeah ive had similar situations... I went all the way from Eastern KY to WY without crossing a single scale. 2 lanes are an over weight truckers best friend.JolliRoger, Caterpillar Cowboy, slow.rider and 4 others Thank this.

Yeah they would, every truck that passes under the sensors are recorded. They know if you get a green or a red.
All they have to do is to just ask their dispatcher or look it up on their mobile systems.
here, you have the state police who run the scales, but four counties in this region have patrols for trucks and they all have portable scales. I’ve gone through scaling on the side of the road in Detroit and Pontiac.
I also know that if you blow by a scale and you get pulled over, then find you overweight, they will put you out of service and make you transfer part of the load.tscottme, Toomanybikes, striker and 7 others Thank this. -
For what it’s worth more then once I’ve been called in while 1-2K lbs over weight on either the trailer or drive axles and still got the green light to exit weigh station.
there’s some kind of tolerance on the scales or they’re just out of wack from the guys that jam the breaks while going across em.striker, rachi, bentstrider83 and 2 others Thank this. -
Yes they know......TripleSix, slow.rider and bzinger Thank this.

Also that's why your EZ pass light blinks either color for( I think) 15 minutes after you pass the scale...... for verification if they do chase you down.

There is not a scale house in this country that cannot be bypassed. Just depends on how far out of route you want to go.
I have ran from CA to Hunts point market with produce 5k over gross and never crossed a scale. Went more than 10 years and never crossed a scale. Easily done.Tb0n3, JohnBoy, bentstrider83 and 5 others Thank this. -
FYI- Drivers do not have a CSA score and they do not get "points". Drivers records of inspections and accident go on his PSP report. And stay there for 3 years. There is no rating system for drivers though some companies do have software that converts inspection violations etc to a point system for their internal company use.rachi, RockinChair, roshea and 2 others Thank this.

If your steers are over you would move your 5th wheel back. No??
