What is your favorite CB make and model?

Any cobra 29 will be the safest bet for that price range. See how it performs in your truck before spending money on antenna and coax if you want to be frugal. I know it's always better to run your own stuff, but I've been pleasantly surprised by Volvo's factory setup on this new Volvo I'm in. It works great for hearing Mud Duck and hearing 'what happened?' 47 times at each slow down.

My current radio is a Uniden 980SSB, but I'm not enough of an enthusiast to use half it's feature lol. Just channel 19 and noise filtering is all I care about.

 

check and see of your Volvo has the "multiplex box" some do and some don't. If it does it has a jack inside the dash that you can hook your phone up to...
