So our truck's run 70. I'm only seeing a 5.2 mpg...
Here is what I'm trying to see if anyone else that runs this speed is getting a better mpg. We run close to 80000 most of time.
what is your mpg?

That will be accurate. Try cutting back to 65. My overall is 7.3mpg but I rarely pull heavy. Ive gone as high as 8.1mpg some weeks. There are a lot of factors in fuel mileage. Type of trailer, type of truck, aerodynamics. Also idleing will kill mpg. I have an apu that helps a lot. Also truck set up is important. I have a 475 Cat 18spd OD 3:25 rears. This set up keeps my rpms low at cruising speed and helps my mpg. At 70mph I only turn 1325 rpm. So theres a lot to take into account.

Where you run, what altitude you typically operate in (air density), flatbed or van, APU runs a lot, what your average gross is ... these are the most critical parameters to consider when comparing MPG across different drivers and fleets. Furthermore, you need to look at a minimum of 1 month accurate fuel addition tracking and miles.

Lifetime MPG on my '12 Cascadia is 7.9. I am currently at 79990 running from Washington state to Maryland. AVG 8.16 and climbing as we cruise across Indiana. I am almost always heavy and I run 57-62.

12 Cascadia, always heavy, run east of I69 usually, with student avg is 6.5-6.8. Without student 7.0 to 7.8 goverened at 63 but well worn drives steal mileage and speed is usually 61.

I get about 6.5 to 7.5 most of the time, but road, wind and temp play a big factor.

I'm in a 2012 Volvo and it gets about 8-9mpg. I run 79k every load.
