    I hauled logs and ran cattle from sale barns. There's alot you can do just gotta prove your worth.

    Asphalt trucking by that do you mean dump trucks and pavers, or hauling liquid asphalt?

    I can't remember if the first time I backed into a paver if I was 18 or 19. I do remember that I had never paved before, and it was at night on an airport runway extension. My boss went ahead of me and fell out of the paver. He got on the C.B. and said "Don't do what I just did"! Been at it 5 or 6 years now and I've never had to buy the paving crew a case of beer yet!
