Will a regular twin mattress fit in most trucks?

Same here. Mine is twice as thick as the stock ones and don't fit the bed rails exactly. It sort of sits on top of the lip. I think its a standard twin. Decent quality though and much better than stock with a new truck. My last truck had 600 miles on it when I moved in and they still swapped out the mattress for me even though it was new.

The twin size mattress topper I use is only 3-4 inches shorter than the frieghtliner stock one.

We bought an aftermarket one custom sized that fits the bed perfectly. 5" foam with zippered waterprof cover. Then added a 3" memory foam pad from wally world on top, that I had to cut to size.

Just the matress was to hard for him, perfect for me. Add the memory foam and its to soft for me and perfect for him.

What we need is a slightly larger sleep number bed. Yeah now that would be perfect.

Stock Pete innerspring--they basically suck--LOL--use a foam waffle pad over that and then--wrap the whole thing in a sleeping bag--inside of bag up--then the sheets etc--works nicely--but what do I know--wife talked me into fancy pillow top king for house 1200bucks--and I hat that thing--she sleeps like baby--to quote Pete-----SIGH

my other half tried that with me once, she lost that battle & says she won't ever try it again; but the bed we have @ home is a pillow top.
