I use my cell with 3 alarms set 1 minute apart. The alarms I use are not normal alarm sounds. I downloaded them to my phone. They can be found on the web as "extreme_alarm_clock", "nuclear_alarm" and "super_alarm". I think all are mp3 files. I also set my cell so that it would not change time zones.

I had a Screaming Meanie in 1997-2000 and in 1997 I was dead and I mean Dead TIRED called pulled back to back 16 Hour days to get a load to California Southern Route from Upstate NY load of Cool Whip. Well I made Delivery went to the Flying Hook at Ripon for the next couple days Logbook was DOA after getting there. After eating and showering I went to bed. I set my Meanie for 15 Hours on Loud and I was Sleeping through the Freaking thing. Now I was Pulled In to my Space I had 7 Drivers shaking my truck to WAKE MY ### UP. I woke up and shut it off. Needless to say I was not a popular driver that day.

    Guess I am past dead.

But on a serious note I use the extreme alarm clock on my phone and created a tasker app that when I pull the breaks I can run and choose a 6 hrs 8 hrs or 10 hrs alarm that auto sets it. Or can start last music app I used So if I was on Iheart that's what it plays or standard music app.
6 hrs is if I plan on going to sleep right away as that the best and most refreshed time for me. Less and hard as heck to wake up more and I feel drained. 8 and all drivers know why those 2. :)

Thought I was done with appointments too. Then one day I woke up and drove 5 mins to the consignee only to find out I needed an appointment to deliver and my dispatcher never told me even though it was on the rate con. Not a good day but they ended up working me in late in the afternoon. Still killed the day though.

What's an alarm clock, seriously, I have never owned one, just get up when I want and start my day.

Honestly, my hat is off to you guys that have to make appointments all the time. I call my customer a day ahead and give them an appox time, then I call them when I am an hour out.
