What kind of background check do companies use?

Just checked my MVR squeaky clean. I don't see the point in even filling out the app if you check yes to felony people just been hanging up the phone in my ear like I'm some kind of murdering baby rapist. All's I did was get in a fight in my backyard with a drunk that wouldn't leave. Ya I ###### up. I should have called the cops on him. I thought I had more rights than I did on my property. I broke his nose and they said I used "excessive force". Even when he attacked me first. Took the first offender plea so I didn't have to go to trial and risk going to jail. I probably would have won the case but wasn't worth the risk. It's not about what you know it's what you can prove. They gave me first offender because like it says it was my first offense. But I'm gonna keep trying no matter how many discouraging words people toss my way.

 

Ya I hear what you are saying I guess I just need to keep applying and let people know the situation. No since in risking getting fired. Seems like no one is gonna cut me a break though.
