Sorry, what I meant was I never had luck replacing less than all 4. Once one goes bad it becomes a black hole and once it starts killing the others it's usually too late, in my experience anyway.

Yep. Always all of them at a time. Gotta’ have them all working together as a team. The weak players drag down the rest.

I generally buy whatever lead acid is on sale at the time and replace every 3 years no matter what. I also leave a fridge on 24/7 even over the weekend so better safe than sorry.

I don’t see a warranty being helpful. You have to be close, they have to agree to a replacement, and then what they give you one? The one battery you had issues with might have tainted the remaining ones.

Good point. Also warranty will only give you a refund on what's left on it. so if you've used it 2 years and 11 months then they give you 1 month worth back.

Does your truck run an APU? If APU I would run the cheap battery and replace every 1-2 years. Worked fine for my other truck.

I see a lot of Volvo dealers have sales on batteries and cheaper than any store to buy. So this is not that surprising to me.

I always bought from the Volvo dealer I work with at home. They will replace all the batteries if any problems under warranty and will do so all the way to the last day of warranty.
