What kind of local driving exists in Tennessee?

Tennessee is full. We took on our last yan....I mean northerner just yesterday. Shoot for that SD or Florida gig.

 

Choose a state with no personal income taxes.
Tennessee, Florida, South Dakota on your list have no personal income taxes.
Texas is good also and so is Nevada which is where I moved to.
The good pay is in line haul and it's very easy.

You have the experience to get on with any line haul company and be home every day.
Hauling fuel to gas stations pays well also and you have the experience for that.
Get all the endorsements if you don't have them already.

 

Western Dairy Transport and Dairy Farmers of America are two big milk haulers.
Probably a hundred more smaller ones.

When you decide on a state, Zillow is a good place to look for housing, purchase or renting.
Also shows the best schools for children in whichever town/city you choose.

 

Start making plans; took us a couple months to decide where we wanted to move to from Tennessee.
Tennessee is a fine state though; was born and raised there. Just too cold in the winter, so we moved.

I love the palm trees and mild winter weather here in Clark County, Nevada.
My winter coats and clothing are stuffed into the back of the closet; don't need them anymore.

Don't let relatives, grand parents or any other, influence what you do.
Look at the big picture as to what's best for your wife and children. They will survive and flourish without relatives nearby.
Seeing and living in new places is healthy for the mind, adults and children.
Where I now live, is a destination area to relocate to for people from all over the USA and world. We really enjoy that part of living here.

 

I live in your area, originally from Attica but grew up in Florida. I couldn't see moving back there now. Too crowded. Vacationed in Tennessee a few weeks ago and loved it there but it seems pretty expensive. South Dakota is too darn cold in the winter. Las Vegas is too hot so I'm staying put until Elon Musk colonizes Mars!
