Sounds like your trainer doesn't understand the concept of picking the correct to actually make the turn in. And she's dangerous. Period.
Glad you're not doing that, at least.

    Injun and TractorGator Thank this.

you darn well better be in gear when talking a road test making corners or they will fail you....no coasting to stops signs/lights...no shifting in an intersection or crossing rr tracks either......taking it out of gear to make a corner is dangerous like pack said...it could leave you stranded if you miss your gear and cause a hazard.... and be in the intersection even longer....

as for the original question...take your job seriously....dont be overconfident....none of us will ever know it all...once you think you do...(not you specifically) its the day you need to park...dont let other "push" you down a grade (tell you to speed up or tailgate trying to intimidate you)...please DRIVE SLOW thru the parking lots including customers, truckstops, restareas....and dont let anyone try to push you into breaking the law..ITS YOUR license....be safe ....hope it all works out for you!!!

First thing youll learn is not all trainers are good trainers. But, it doesn't mean you cant learn lots of other good stuff from them.

I thought they called it a fuel island because you are supposed to pull in and pretend like you are shipwrecked and stay there...
