What kind of mobile broadband card do you use for your laptop?

    FiOS sure does make anything feel like it's at a snail's pace doesn't it? By far the best ISP I ever had but crap it's spoiled me.

    I had a grandfathered unlimited VZW plan too until my card died on the road in Denver. No internet, no freight. I ended up picking up a Moto Xoom that doubles as a hotspot for no extra charges. Unfortunately, I had to go to a 5gig plan. So far no overages, but I stopped watching Netflix too.

    FYI to the newbies, almost every truckstop has paid wifi these days that works in your truck. Usually, it's $5 for 24hrs or $20ish for the month for that particular chain ie,TA, Flying J, etc. If your stuck for a while(34 hr restart) and want to use some bandwith, this is usually the cheapest way to go.
