I've been doing a fair amount of slip-seating lately, but here's a two trucks for which I've recorded a two-month average MPG:
'07 International 9400i, condo bunk, 450hp Cummins ISX, EF 13spd, 3.90, 22.5; Webasto bunk heater (clocked 11 hours of idling per month from module display); 40,000lbs; Running east coast and Maritimes; cruise at 60mph at 1350rpm: 5.9mpg (winter)
'00 Freightliner FL112, day cab, 350hp Caterpillar, EF 10spd, 3.90, 22.5; 20,000lbs; City P&D, shunting, and line-haul around southern Ontario; cruise at 58mph at 1400rpm: 5.2mpg (winter)
what kind of mpg do you get?

Yep total truth though, swear to god and I'll try to get a pic when I can I don't have my laptop with me just this ole fancy phone. I'm convince its going to explode. It sounds like crap. Been broke down 3 times since he got it first week of Jan. Was pretty sure a century was supposed to get 6ish but he's lucky to breech 5.1, that's the read out on QC truck read out is a few .01's diff then QC. Still abysmal for short nose. But it IS a Schneider truck lol.

ok then, sounds like it does have some problems. Phew! I was looking at biting the bullet and getting one (Columbia) just to give up bragging rights and put the difference in my pocket. Man I'd be pissed if it ended up costing more on the road.

Inside the freightliner is roomier then the petes this century is even more roomy then the 387. Can stand in bunk and still not touch roof and I'm 5'9'. Can sit up in top bunk but eh... for my first truck I'm trying the 379 if the fuel issue becomes a prob then I will trade it in for a Lonestar lol.
