Nahhh,, they pay!
Compare when your new rig gets there! Even though, it will still be a curvy nose, so should be better I think.
D/H back if I keep it under 70mph is over 8MPG though, which I am very happy with
Martin
what kind of mpg do you get?

Huge differences right there...
http://smarttrucksystems.com/undertray.php
Currently right now, this is my ifta report for July and Aug to last Friday. Realistically, I consider it more to be around 7.5 to 7.7. Considering just this past spring I was in the mid to upper 5's. I'd say I had a lot of mechanical issues to work through. Room for improvement? yeah, there is. right now though, I am tickled to see a 2 mpg improvement.
CAC, Wiring harness, power divider. All three of those combined sucked a lot of my mileage. The biggest and most consistent improvement came after the power divider replacement last month.
I now want to replace my air filter since it's now a year old. Showing about 8-10" of vacuum on the gage all the time.Attached Files:

I have t660, is 09 with 525isx 1850 torgue,18 speed, 3.36 gear,260 wheelbase,86 inche sleeper,full fairing. turbo wing,tire sized 11 r 22.5. I used to run it around 65 mph,my rpm exactly 1300 rpm,I get 7.2 to 7.8. My weight alway under 25,000. Now I run it around 70-85mph,I get 5.9 to 6.2, yeah running fast drop my fuel mileage,but why I choose to run fast?i get home spend time with my wife n kid,unload n reload n doing another trip,running slow,I can't do all that,saving 50 to 80 a gallon,like $320. And lose time with family,is worth it?

I replace my intake filter 3 times a year. I have lowered the front-end of the truck for better air flow, this has helped, but don't know by how much. I also have M710's on drives / R283's steers. I use crossfires and keep them pumped up to 120psi and let them crown a bit. Also, I use 5th wheel slider lube on my 5th wheel like mad. Every trailer. I go thru a bottle every week or so. Grease is too messy. I have been looking at wheel covers and/or air-tabs lately, but I drive slow. Don't know if they will help much.
The downside of my timing shift is that I go up hills 1 lower gear than I used to. I keep boost below 10 most of the time as well, putting me in the slow lane, even when empty. I don't mind tho, I drive stress-free. No one ever gets in my way.
I have completely traded away driving fast and working my tail off for the less stressful, less miles, higher profit margin way of making my living. I love it, and my wife does too. I sleep good while she is driving because I know the truck is not moving fast. We have been driving this way for 4 years now, and hate going faster than 60. We let it roll the speed-limit downhills, especially out west, to help with fuel, but otherwise just poke along. We take lots of back-routes because the interstate has little advantage for us. This shaves a lot of time and miles off our runs because of a more direct path. There are many small towns that we go thru where the sheriff will wave at us, and we wave back because we travel thru them so often. Last year we averaged 4502 miles weekly as a team and had 11 weeks off throughout the year. Still we managed to rake in 130k net after all expenses. This year, we have no more truck payments, and now, much higher fuel mileage, so I will just have to see where we end up, but its looking really good so far. A few more months will reveal how much further we are ahead.Last edited: Aug 12, 2013

As far as tire pressures in my Michelin x-one energys, I start at 125 psi cold and I highly recommend tire sensors that is a good investment that will be paid for by preventing the first roadside service call for a tire.MNdriver Thanks this. -
