I am out 3 weeks out of the month. I get .40 per mile running teams plus 30.00 per pick up. Each pick up avg time 50 minutes. The miles are paid for total trip miles, not just the miles I drive myself, it includes my partner.
It is average about 1500 per week. Theres some physical labor loading trailer, and sleeping in a moving truck, driving at all hours, etc. But It's good money for a rookie.
I dont know if FFE is considered a mega carrier. But they have a CDL school that I attended. Room and 3 meals a day provided. 4000 dollar training bill paid for with 1-year driving commitment.
What kind of pay can I expect when first getting a CDL license?
